Rush "Bud" Eichholtz

A native of Bellefontaine, Bud graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1962, attended the Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, and was a 1975 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Upon his graduation from C.C.M.S. he joined the family funeral business in Bellefontaine, where he became a third generation funeral director/embalmer. Married to the former Mona Brown, also a Logan County native, they are the parents of two children, Rush III, and Krista Adelsberger, and have four grandchildren. Bud is active in many community clubs and events, and is a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Bellefontaine and the Ohio Funeral Directors Association.

Jeffrey L. Smith

Jeff is the co-owner and vice-president of the Eichholtz Funeral Homes. A native of Luckey, Ohio, Jeff graduated from the Eastwood High School in 1971, attended the University of Maryland and the University of Tennessee prior to his graduation from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1976. Jeff and his wife Eve reside in Bellefontaine, and have three sons, one daughter, and two grandchildren.

Jeff attends the Calvary Baptist Church, is a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, Lions International, Kiwanis International, Bellefontaine Masonic Lodge 209, Elks Lodge #132, Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533, and is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Ohio and North Carolina.

David L. Seeley

A native of Bellefontaine, Dave attended school in Bellefontaine and after moving, graduated from the Indian Lake High School in 1975. He attended the Ohio State University for two years prior to attending the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, where he graduated in 1978. He joined the Eichholtz Funeral Home staff in 1981 as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. David and his wife Glenna have three children, Kyle, Kristin, and Kurt. He is a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association and is very active in the Logan County 4-H program.

Jackie K. Circle

Originally from Clark County, Jackie graduated from Northwestern High School, Springfield, Ohio, in 1969. Following graduation she attended Frederick’s Beauty Academy, graduating as a licensed cosmetologist in 1971. In 1985 Jackie decided to make a career change and entered Clark State Community College in Springfield, Ohio. After meeting requirements Jackie then attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, where she graduated in 1989. A member of the Eichholtz Funeral Home staff since 1995, Jackie is both a licensed funeral director and embalmer and serves as the pre-arrangement counselor for all Eichholtz Funeral Home locations. Jackie enjoys the scenery, history of the hills, and the people of Logan County area.

Jackie is the mother of two children, Troy Circle and Belinda Emory, and has four grandchildren. A member of the North Hampton United Church of Christ, North Hampton, Ohio and the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, she is very active in several Logan County functions.

                                                                          

Trey F. Daring

A native of Bellefontaine, Trey is a 1997 graduate of Bellefontaine Senior High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Cincinnati.  In 2002 he graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and became a Ohio licensed funeral director and embalmer in 2003.  He joined the Eichholtz Funeral Home staff in 2006 after working in Loudonville for four years.

Trey is active with the Ohio Funeral Directors Association where he currently serves on the Young Funeral Director's Committee.  He also belongs to the Bellefontaine Elks Lodge and the Bellefontaine Exchange Club. He and his wife, Kyle, whom is a fifth-grade teacher at Western Intermediate School in Bellefontaine are parishioners of Saint Patrick Catholic Church, Bellefontaine, where they are actively involved.  They enjoy golfing and following The Ohio State University Athletic programs.

Trey and Kyle have a son, Sutton, who was born in January of 2009.

                                                                                  

Marvin Hilty

Born near Massillon, Ohio, Marvin grew up in Wayne County, where he graduated from Sterling High School, Rittman, Ohio. Marvin attended Kent State University and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Upon his graduation from C.C.M.S. he became both a licensed funeral director and embalmer. In 1968 he purchased the Swope Funeral Homes, located in Belle Center and Rushsylvania. In October 1995, these locations were purchased by the Eichholtz Funeral Home, at which time Marvin joined the Eichholtz staff.

Marvin and his wife Mary reside in Rushsylvania, and have five children and four grandchildren. He is a member of the Belle Center United Presbyterian Church, Richland Township Fire Department, Ohio Funeral Directors Association, Bellefontaine Kiwanis club, a 25 year member of the BMRT Ambulance of Belle Center, and the Bellefontaine Masonic Lodge #209.
