Eunice F. Boykin

Eunice F. Boykin, 87, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at the Green Hills Retirement Community in West Liberty, Ohio.

She was born in Springfield on June 22, 1921, a daughter of the late Humbert A. and Nancy J. Stevens Linkinhoker.

On July 19, 1947, she married Joseph “Bud” E. Boykin and he died November 11, 1993. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Frank Linkinhoker; and a sister, Bessie Milner.

Survivors include a daughter, Rikki L. Peck of Westerville, Ohio; a sister, Virginia Engelhaupt of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Kendra L. Marino of Cleveland, Ohio, and Denette D. Steele of Westerville; great-grandchildren, Gianna Marino and Spencer and Delaney Steele; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Bellefontaine.

Pastor Fred Clogg conducts the funeral service at noon Saturday, November 1, 2008, at the Church of the Brethren in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are two hours prior to the service. Burial is in Blendon Township Cemetery in Westerville.
