Emma W. Greenwood
Emma W. Greenwood of
Lakeview died Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at Heartland of Indian Lake.
She was born in Brasher
Falls, New York, on September 2, 1915, a daughter of the late Charles H.
and Mary A. LaShomb Wolcott.
She was married to
Clarence A. Greenwood, who preceded her in death in 1975. A son, Bruce
A. Greenwood; two brothers, Charles and Roy Wolcott; and a son-in-law,
Robert A. Fuller; also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two
daughters, Gail M. (Steven) Falter of Belle Center and Nancy A. (Bruce)
Fuller-Krieger of Rochester, New York; seven grandchildren, Amy Marie
Flater Brookins, Kimberly Ann Flater Geiger, David A. and Michael A.
Fuller, and Christopher, Jena and Sara Greenwood; and four
greatgrandchildren.
She worked as a
registered nurse for Dr. Robert Corrins in Potsdam, New York, for
several years before working at Carthage Area Hospital in New York.
Father Gary Giroux will
conduct the graveside service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008,
at the St. Mary Cemetery in Potsdam, New York. Visitation is two hours
prior to the service at the Garner Funeral Home in Potsdam. The Eichholtz
Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
