McDonald
Anna Mae McDonald, 87, of West
Liberty, died Thursday, September 4, 2008, at the Green Hills Retirement
Community in West Liberty, Ohio.
She was born in Maplewood on January
3, 1921, a daughter of the late Omer W. and Loretta E. Enoch Clinehens.
On February 28, 1947, she married
Eugene McDonald in Bellefontaine, Ohio, and he died May 2, 1997. She also was
preceded in death by a sister, Mary Overly.
Survivors include a son, Gary Eugene
(Cheryl) McDonald of Sidney, Ohio; a daughter, Lisa Yvonne Cox of
Albany, Georgia; special niece, Peggy (Bill) Gay of Bellefontaine; three
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Treva
Fanaff of Bellefontaine.
She was a member of the First United
Methodist Church in Bellefontaine, the Christian Women’s Club and the
Red Hat Society at Green Hills. In Bradenton, and Pinellas Park,
Florida, where she and her husband resided for 37 years, she owned and
operated Ann’s Poodle House Salon.
Rev. Ed Beale will conduct the
funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2008, at the Eichholtz
Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m.
Sunday afternoon. Interment is in Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson, Ohio.
